An actor, dancer, host, comedian, composer, lyricist, but most importantly, one of India’s finest singers, Sonu Nigam is a man of many facades.

He started his singing career at the age of 4 and came to Mumbai when he was 18. Over the next years, he sang many popular songs, such as ‘Achha Sila Diya’, ‘Sandese Aate Hain’, and ‘Yeh Dil Diwana’, to name a few. Soon he hosted world’s first ever singing competion show on TV – Sa Re Ga Ma.

He is a mélange of various genres. Rock, Romantic, Ghazals, Bhajans, Spiritual, you name it. He’s sung over 5 thousand songs and released innumerable singles and albums in 32 languages.

He collaborated with Jermaine Jackson as an ode to Michael Jackson.

Avicii, Kshmr, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue and Natalia Lesz are some of his international collaborations.

His concert ‘Rafi Resurrected’ at the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra remains a benchmark. He has been performing to packed houses for decades in countries like USA, UK, Netherlands, Middle East etc.

He’s won innumerable awards. His work for ‘Jal’ was shortlisted for Oscars 2014.

He also recived a National Award for the song ‘Kal ho na ho’.
