Der Sari ist ein traditionelles indisches Kleidungsstück, das auch heute noch oft im Alltag getragen wird. Nicht selten lässt sich seine Schönheit auf der Filmleinwand bewundern, da er durch sein prachtvolles Aussehen gerne in Bollywood-Filmen Verwendung findet. Da es sich bei einem Sari nicht um ein genähtes Kleid, sondern um ein fünf bis sechs Meter langes rechteckiges Tuch handelt, kommt automatisch folgende Frage auf: Wie wickelt und trägt man einen Sari?
Um dieser Frage nachzukommen bieten wir gemeinsam mit AMIKAL e.V. einen Workshop zum Thema an.

The saree is a traditional piece of Indian clothing, still worn quite often in everyday life. Movies make abundant use of its beauty, having it appear in a rich diversity of colors time and again, especially in Bollywood cinema. But a saree is not a finished piece of clothing, stitched and fitted – it is basically a five to six meters long rectangular piece of fabric, so of course one has to ask: How do you bind and wear a saree?
To answer this question, we’re going to offer, in cooperation with AMIKAL e.V., a workshop.
