A woman leaves her husband on the first day of their marriage after discovering that he doesn’t have a toilet. He desperately sets out on a mission to win back his love by standing up to the age-old traditions and values of India.
The film is a satirical comedy film in support of Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a governmental campaign to improve the sanitation conditions in India, with emphasis on the eradication of open defecation in public areas, especially in the rural areas of India. The film shares some similarities with a true event in which 19-year old Priyanka Bharti fled her husband’s home in 2012, when there was no toilet.
